Created in France during the later years of the 19th century, each of this pair of walnut console tables features a rectangular variegated red and grey marble top sitting above a single dovetailed drawer. Fitted with a linear brass handle, each drawer is surrounded by a thin gilt frame and is flanked with brass reeded accents in the corners. The sides and back showcase a similar décor creating a perfect visual continuity. Each table is raised on four fluted tapering legs adorned with gilt accents on the upper and lower rings.
