A French Louis XV style oak side table with single drawer, scalloped apron and cabriole legs from the early 19th century. Born during the early years of the 19th century, this French side table features a rectangular top with rounded corners and edges, sitting above a single frieze drawer, lined with paper on the inside. A beautifully scalloped apron runs on all sides of the table, allowing it to be used as a side table pushed against a wall, or as a floating center table. The table is raised on four elegant cabriole legs, whose curvy lines are a direct influence from the Louis XV period. With its graceful Silhouette and the lovely patina of its oak, this French side table circa 1820 will compliment any décor beautifully, whether placed in a bedroom, living room or foyer.
