An Austrian Biedermeier period walnut side chair from the mid 19th century, with heart shaped back, red and gold fabric and saber hind legs. Created in Austria during the Biedermeier period in the second quarter of the 19th century, this side chair captures our attention with its beautiful heart-shaped pierced back accented with a petite black sphere. The seat is covered with a red and gold fabric with geometric motifs and rosettes in diamonds, accented with a galon trim. The chair is raised on four legs, saber in the back and tapering in the front.
