A French bronze guéridon side table from the 19th century with black marble top, faux bamboo legs and burl shelf. Created in France during the 19th century, this bronze guéridon side table features a circular black marble top sitting above a faux bamboo base. Three sets of double legs support the top and come to rest on a low tripartite shelf made of burl wood. The ensemble is completed by three delicately curving feet in the manner of saber legs, made of wood and bronze. Upon closer inspection, one will discover discreet details such as twisted rope motifs, gadrooned capitals, petite beads and fluted accents that add to the table’s refinement.
