A French Louis-Philippe period walnut bedside table from the mid-19th century, with three drawers, banding and diamond motifs. Born in France during the reign of King Louis-Philippe, this walnut side table features a rectangular top with three-quarter gallery, adorned with dark geometric banding (echoed on the side panels) and surrounding a central motif. Three thin drawers, each fitted with Rococo style hardware, are adorned with a simple banding. The upper one is conveniently partitioned. Raised on four slightly curving legs and showcasing a scalloped apron on three sides, this Louis-Philippe walnut bedside table circa 1840 will bring a touch of French elegance to any bedroom, living room or hallway.
