An English Regency style console table from the early 20th century, with ebonized wood, gilt finish and mirrored back. Created in England during the first quarter of the 20th century, this Regency style console table features a rectangular top with curving sides and protruding accents, sitting above an apron carved with molded panels and flanked with reeded motifs. The entire piece is made of ebonized wood perfectly contrasted by gilded details throughout its structure. The console is raised on six baluster shaped legs with gilt twisted motifs. The back panel is mirrored in the front and shows a greatly antiqued finish. The back is untouched, therefore the table will look at its best placed against a wall.
