An English Regency rosewood console table from the mid-19th century, with ebonized wood base. Born in England at the end of the Regency period, this exquisite console table features a rectangular rosewood top with rounded corners and large apron, sitting above an elegant ebonized wood trestle base. The legs are each accented with a lion ring pull and delicate gilt volutes, and are connected to one another through a spindle-shaped stretcher. The result is one of refinement and class, making this English console table circa 1830 an excellent decorative choice for any home, particularly placed in a living room or foyer.
