A pair of 1960s Italian brass and glass folding side tables with cast brass hands and sandaled feet. Each of this pair of Italian Mid-Century Modern side tables features a 0.25″ thick glass top resting delicately on four welcoming cast brass hands. The whimsical details of the top are repeated yet adapted on the lower section of the x-form base: four sandaled feet raise the ensemble, reminding us of footwear from the Antiquity. Each side of the x-shaped base is connected to one another by side stretchers, providing great strength to the structure. Indeed, while the bases fold, they are in fact sturdy.
