An English black and gold chinoiserie small cabinet from the late 19th century, with 10 inner drawers. Born in England during the last decade of the 19th century, this small cabinet features a black lacquered silhouette, adorned with a golden chinoiserie décor. The rectangular top is adorned with birds and trees. It is the façade however, that attracts all of our attention with its pagodas surrounded by luscious foliage. The two frontal doors open to reveal 10 hidden drawers adorned with bouquets of flowers. Raised on gilded block feet, this English chinoiserie cabinet circa 1890 will bring an exotic touch to any home, perhaps displayed in a bedroom or living room.
