A pair of Italian neoclassical style fruitwood stools from the early 20th century, with tapered legs, carved apron, circular side stretchers and new upholstery. Born in Italy during the early years of the 20th century, each of this exquisite pair of fruitwood stools features a circular seat, newly covered with a linen fabric accented with brass nailheads. The apron’s carved décor is echoed by the circular side stretchers that connect the tapered legs with fluted accents to one another. Topped with carved rosettes on the knees, the legs rest on petite spade feet. With their neoclassical lines and refined décor, these Italian fruitwood stools circa 1900 will bring a touch of elegance to any home, perhaps placed in a living room or bedroom.
