A pair of Italian silver leaf carved urn architectural fragments from the 19th century, turned into table lamps mounted on lucite bases and wired for the USA. Created in Italy during the 19th century, each of this pair of fragments features a carved urn adorned with ovoid motifs, foliage and fluted accents. Showcasing a silver leaf finish, the urns have been recently made into table lamps that have been professionally wired for the USA. A brass shaft comes out of the top to support the single socket, while the ensemble is mounted on a rectangular lucite base whose translucent quality compliments the silver finish beautifully. The fragments are unfinished in the back, the lamps will therefore benefit from being placed against a wall. With their elegant lines and nice patina, this pair of Italian silver leaf carved urns from the 19th century made into table lamps will make for a wonderful addition to any home, placed on a pair of demilunes, a pair of bedside chests or a credenza.
