A pair of French painted iron floor lamps from the early 20th century with trellis motifs, tiered scrolling accents and lion paw feet. Created in France in the first quarter of the 20th century during the period called the Années Folles (the Roaring Twenties), each of this pair of floor lamps features a tapering obelisk style upper section adorned with a trellis-themed décor. The lamps have been newly and professionally rewired for the US and their upper sections support the single brass sockets. The lower part contrasts beautifully with the top’s linearity, in its tiered design showcasing a careful arrangement of S-scrolls resting on a base adorned with lion paw feet. Painted in a soft color accented with golden touches on the trellis, this pair of French iron floor lamps circa 1920 will make for a stylish addition to any home, perhaps placed in a living room or foyer.
