A pair of English hexagonal bronze and copper lanterns from the early 20th century, with six-lights, glass panels and twisted motifs. Born in England during the buoyant Roaring 1920s, each of this pair of bronze and copper lanterns features an hexagonal shape. Adorned with inverted bell canopies, leading the eye to the delicate curvature of the tops, the lanterns present glass panels rhythmically interrupted by the presence of the twisted motifs on the armature. Six petite scrolling arms support the bobèches and authentic wax candle sleeves on the inside. With their green patina revealing the metal’s oxidation and graceful silhouettes, this pair of English hexagonal lanterns, circa 1920 will bring a stylish touch to any home. They are wired for the US.
