A pair of Austrian Biedermeier period walnut armchairs from the mid-19th century, with horseshoe backs, looping arms, saber legs and new upholstery. Born during the second quarter of the 19th century, each of this pair of Biedermeier armchairs features an elegant horseshoe back, newly recovered in a linen fabric, accented with a brass nailhead trim. Two elegant looping open arms flank the seat presenting a custom cushion. Each chair is raised on four saber legs, whose simplicity compliments the sleek lines of the piece perfectly.
