Pair of Asian Midcentury Bronze Table Lamps with Openwork Décor and Lucite Bases

$2,700

A pair of Asian bronze table lamps from the mid 20th century, with openwork décor, single lights and custom lucite bases, wired for the USA. Created in Asia during the Midcentury period, each of this pair of bronze table lamps features an elegant body made of a series of spheres of varying sizes, adorned with an openwork décor showcasing rosettes and scrolling foliage. Boasting a slight verdigris patina typical of the bronze oxidation, the lamps have been mounted on custom made lucite bases of round shape, whose transparent quality compliments the darker tones beautifully. The lamps have been newly and professionally rewired for the USA and are ready to be plugged. The upper section showcases a pricket on which a candle sleeve is resting and itself supporting a brass socket. Their openwork décor will make this pair of Asian bronze table lamps from the mid 20th century an excellent choice to anchor a credenza, console table or buffet.
