A pair of Italian neoclassical walnut bedside tables from the early 19th century, with banding and fluted tapering legs. Born in Italy during the first quarter of the 19th century, each of this pair of bedside tables features a rectangular top adorned with diamond-shaped banding surrounded by a double frame and resting on a façade presenting two drawers. Decorated with thin banding as well, the drawers are flanked with foliage-carved side posts that lead our eyes down to the tapered fluted legs on which the tables are resting. With their clean neoclassical lines and lovely walnut décor, these Italian bedside tables circa 1820 will bring a touch of elegance to any bedroom or living room.
