$1,700

A rustic English turn of the century oak barrel from the early 20th century with six brass braces and open accents, made and labeled by R.A. Lister & Co. Dursley, England. Created in England during the Turn of the Century which saw the transition between the 19th to the 20th, this barrel features a sturdy oak body made vertical slats in the upper and lower section, contrasted and secured by the golden tones of the six horizontal brass braces that accentuate the piece. An unusual feature is the open section present in the barrel’s central part. The barrel was made and labeled by R.A. Lister & Co. Dursley, England (see the label in the upper part). With its nice proportions and complimenting colors, this rustic English oak and brass barrel circa 1900 will be an excellent decorative accent in any home, perhaps used as an umbrella stand or a fireplace tool barrel.
