Created in Italy during the early years of the 19th century, this Neoclassical chest features a rectangular top with marquetry décor and Vitruvian scroll on the edge, sitting above two narrow drawers adorned with twisted ribbons surrounding by banding. Two larger drawers below, decorated with a Classical marquetry bust depicted in profile surrounded by rinceaux, complete the ensemble.
