An Italian Baroque style walnut Fratino console table from the 19th century, with carved lyre-shaped trestle base, scrolling foliage motifs, iron stretchers, carved feet and brown patina. Created in Italy during the 19th century, this Baroque walnut Fratino console table features a rectangular planked top surrounded by a beautifully carved beveled edge. It is the striking trestle base however, which attracts all the attention with its richly carved décor adorning the splayed lyre-shaped legs and side stretchers. Accented with scrolling foliage, the legs are connected to the top’s underside through two iron stretchers with curving accents. Boasting a brown patina, this Italian walnut Fratino console table from the 19th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, placed against a wall in a living room, bedroom or foyer!
