An Italian walnut settee from the 19th century, with curving back, scrolling arms and tapered feet. Created in Italy during the 19th century, this walnut settee features a curving back connected to two open arms with scrolling extremities and acanthus leaf carvings. The seat and back have recently been reupholstered with a neutral toned double welt fabric. The ensemble is raised on four legs, tapered and adorned with carved motifs in the front while slightly saber in the back.
