A French wooden three-door enfilade with Doric pilasters from the late 19th century. This exquisite French enfilade (think long buffet), features a rectangular planked top sitting above three doors (a set of double doors and a single one). These doors open to reveal a large storage area that runs along the entire width of the piece. The façade is accented by four Doric style pilasters, whose elegant lines remind us of the Greco-Roman antiquity. The sides are simply adorned with recessed panels while the ensemble is raised on six straight feet. With its warm patina (we are thinking that the wood may be sycamore) and clean lines, this French enfilade, circa 1880 will bring a distinguished presence in any home, from a dining room to living room.
