Born in France during the early years of Emperor Napoleon III’s reign, this elegant commode features a grey variegated marble top with rounded corners in the front, sitting above three dovetailed drawers each fitted with linear brass hardware. Adorned with recessed panels on the sides, the commode is raised on four feet, the front ones being turned while the hind ones are straight blocks.
