Born in France during the reign of Emperor Napoleon III, this lovely mirror features a simple, rectangular Silhouette, beautifully adorned with a perfectly organized arrangement of laurel leaves, painted in a soft grey color, accented in the corners with giltwood acanthus leaves presenting a subtle red undertone and a delicate rosette. A thin giltwood trim surrounds the central mirror plate presenting a clear reflection.
