This French crystal six-light chandelier from the turn of the 19th century features an oval gilt metal frame crowned with a crystal-beaded ring and ending in scrolls with a hanging crystal sphere. A profusion of crystal garlands with pear and kite-shaped crystal pendants hang from the structure, creating a dazzling crystal cloud. Six scrolling arms support corolla-shaped drip pans receiving new wax sleeves with crystal garlands and pendants. Joined by six crystal garlands made of spheres and stars, the cup-shaped canopy gives birth to multiple bending arms with pendants, linked together by crystal garlands. Newly rewired, this French six-light chandelier, circa 1900 would lend a touch of timeless sophistication while adding a mood-setting glow to any space.
