A French walnut enfilade from the 19th century with four drawers over four doors, carved motifs, scrolling feet and natural distressed patina. Charming us with its great proportions and rustic character, this walnut enfilade was created in France during the 19th century. The piece features a rectangular planked top with canted corners in the front and rounded edges, sitting above four drawers. Each drawer is fitted with brass hardware and is carved with stylized rosettes. The dovetail construction reveals the piece’s age. The lower section presents four doors (divided into two pairs) with molded panels, opening to reveal inner shelves offering ample storage solutions. The side posts are adorned with fluted motifs and the apron is scalloped. The sides are made of partitioned recessed panels and the back is simply planked. The ensemble is raised on four straight feet, slightly curving in the front. With its great proportions, natural patina and rustic character, this French walnut enfilade from the 19th century will make for a wonderful addition to any dining room or living room.
