A French wooden canapé from the 19th century, wit richly carved décor, out-scrolling arms and ribbon-tied floral garlands. Created in France during the 19th century, this canapé draws immediately the attention with its natural color and abundantly carved décor. The canapé features a straight back topped with a wicker basket overflowing with flowers and leaves. This back is connected to two tall arms presenting out-scrolling extremities accented with foliage. Coin stack style motifs and rope moldings run along the rails while the front skirt is adorned with an exquisite décor presenting delicate ribbon-tied garlands of flowers.
