French 1940s Walnut Enfilade with Drawers, Doors, Carved Beads and Diamond Motif

$6,995

A French walnut enfilade from the mid 20th century with three drawers over three doors, carved beads and diamond motif. Created in France during the second quarter of the 20th century, this walnut enfilade features a rectangular top with three separate boards, sitting above three drawers fitted with brass handles. The lower section presents three doors (two large ones flanking a smaller one) all carved with petite beads. The central one is used as a focal point with its diamond motif created with additional carved beads. The doors open to reveal a spacious interior providing convenient storage opportunities. The sides are made of simply recessed panels while the back is, of course, unfinished. The lower rail is discreetly adorned with a carved molding and the enfilade is raised on four short tapered feet. With its clean lines and walnut patina, this French enfilade circa 1940 will make for a great addition to any home, particularly placed in a living room or dining room.
