A French carved stone table lamp from the Mid-20th Century, depicting a fruit bowl on a tall pedestal, wired for the USA. Created in France during the second quarter of the 20th century, this table lamp features a carved stone body depicting a charming arrangement of mouth-watering fruits. These fruits are overflowing a circular bowl adorned with an incised décor and a twisted rope motif in its lower section. A brass shaft stems from the top and comes to support a single socket. The lamp has been newly and professionally rewired for the USA and is ready to be plugged. The ensemble is resting on a pyramidal shaped pedestal with truncated top. The plug comes out from the back. With its skillful carving and soft color, this French stone table lamp circa 1940 will make for a lovely addition to any home, perhaps placed atop a chest of drawers, a bedside table or a buffet.
