Born in France during the second quarter of the 20th century, this steel bench features a rectangular seat covered with a Roman-themed toile fabric depicting two characters standing under the Arch of Augustus that was located in the Roman forum. Two out-scrolling arms accented with rosettes flank the seat, and are echoed on the pierced fluted tapering legs, while the apron is adorned with brass palmettes.
