Created in Paris during the second quarter of the 20th century, this map of Paris à vol d’oiseau (as the crow flies) features the City of Lights as it was pre 1950s. The monument to Gambetta showcased in the front of the Louvre Museum started indeed to be dismantled in 1941 and the completion happened in 1954. Boasting a nicely weathered appearance, the map is set inside a new custom iron frame.
