A French mahogany five drawer commode from the early 20th century, with bronze accents. Created in France during the first quarter of the 20th century, this mahogany commode features a rectangular top with butterfly veneer and three-quarter pierced gallery, sitting above a perfectly organized façade. Three small drawers, followed by two larger ones, are lined with Chinoiserie paper on the inside. Flanked with canted side posts and fluted motifs, the commode is raised on tapering legs angled in the front, connected to one another through an apron adorned with bronze foliage.
