A French Tramp Art hand carved mirror from the early 20th century with raised diamond and cross motifs. Born in France during the first quarter of the 20th century, this French mirror was hand carved in the manner typical of the Tramp Art style. Consisting of a rather linear frame with intersecting corners, the mirror features a layered texture made of a series of overlapping notches. The corners are marked with cross motifs, flanking a raised diamond in the center of each side. With its clean lines and its almost three-dimensional design, this French Tramp Art mirror circa 1920 will enliven any space beautifully.
