Born during the reign of Emperor Napoleon III, this French mid-19th century narrow credenza features a rectangular veneered top sitting above an eye-catching tambour door. This doors slide to reveal two inner shelves offering great storage opportunities. The façade is accented with delicate ebonized wood half-columns with gilded capitals and bases, whose bright finish contrasts beautifully with the dark hue of the ebonized wood. The credenza is raised on four tapered legs with slightly splayed extremities.
