Born in France during the Restauration period, this mahogany armchair features a wraparound back adorned with exquisitely carved rams’ heads. The seat is upholstered with a linen fabric accented with brass nailheads while the ensemble is raised on four legs, the front ones being turned while the hind ones are saber.
