A French neoclassical period walnut two-door buffet with inner drawers and shelves from the early 19th century. This French buffet features a rectangular top sitting above two elegant doors, adorned with recessed panels and brass ring pulls with oval backplates. These doors open to reveal two shelves surmounted by two inner dovetailed and unfinished drawers. The piece is raised on four nicely tapered legs, whose pure lines remind us of the simple elegance of the neoclassical period. With its great proportions (a narrow depth), its clean lines and its lovely patina showing good age, this French 1820s neoclassical buffet will compliment any room beautifully, from a dining room to a foyer.
