$6,595

An English Regency penwork occasional table from the 19th century, with square top, in-curving accents, floral décor and quadripod base on casters. Created in England during the Regency period, this occasional table attracts our immediate attention with its penwork décor and graceful lines. The table was first japanned black then accented with a white floral and foliage décor to which details were added with black ink. The table features a square top with in-curving accents, reminding us of an hexagonal shape. Delicate foliage stands out beautifully on the black ground. This top is supported by a thin pedestal with floral motifs, resting on a quadripartite base made of four curving legs mounted on brass lion paw feet with casters. With its graceful lines and exquisite décor, this English Regency penwork occasional table from the 19th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, placed in a living room or bedroom!
