An English Neoclassical Revival mahogany console table from the 19th century, with carved apron depicting a Greek Key frieze and a draped oval medallion. Created in England during the 19th century, this console table features a serpentine top sitting above an elegant apron. A central panel, adorned with an oval shaped draped medallion, is flanked with a Greek key frieze divided into several sections by floral motifs. This décor runs on the sides but the back is, of course, plain. The table will therefore benefit from being placed against a wall. The ensemble is raised on four fluted tapering legs with spade feet. With its Neoclassical lines and mahogany patina, this English console table from the 19th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, placed in a living room, bedroom or foyer!
