An antique English leather case from the 19th century, with GR crowned monogram, brass handles and petite ball feet. Created in England during the 19th century, this brown leather case charms us with its simple appearance and nicely weathered patina. Showcasing a rectangular shape, the case is topped with a lid adorned with a gilded monogram mentioning the initials GR topped with a red and gold crown. This lid opens up to reveal a green felt covered interior with signs of aging. The sides are flanked with lateral brass Chippendale style handles allowing the piece to be moved more easily, while the back is accented with snap buttons. The façade presents a simple leather handle. The piece is raised on four petite patinated brass ball feet completing the ensemble beautifully.
