An English Campaign mahogany cellarette from the late 19th century, with brass accents, and mounted on bracket feet. Born in England in the last years of the 19th century, this English cellarette features a nice linear silhouette, accented with brass details. A rectangular hinged top opens to reveal a compartmentalized interior. Cellarettes are indeed small cabinets designed to store alcoholic beverages. The façade is adorned with a brass escutcheon and lateral braces, whose golden hue compliments the warmth of the mahogany wood perfectly. The sides comprise brass handles allowing the piece to be moved easily, while the ensemble is raised on four bracket feet with curving shapes in their upper section. With its clean lines and lovely patina, this English Campaign cellarette circa 1890 will be a great decorative addition in any home.
