An English mahogany vitrine cabinet from the mid 19th century with glass doors, dark banding, fabric and drawers. Created in England during the second quarter of the 19th century, this vitrine cabinet features a slender silhouette perfectly complimented by an elegant mahogany veneer. The cabinet features a beveled molded cornice sitting above two glass doors with in-curving diamond and arching motifs, opening to inner shelves offering convenient display opportunities. Three drawers below (two small ones flanking a longer central ones), adorned with thin dark hued banding, are fitted with brass lion head ring pulls. They present a thin dovetail construction. The lower section showcases additional glass doors with trellis motifs, with fabric concealing the inner shelves.
