An English George III period oak credenza from the early 19th century, with six drawers, two doors and semi-columns. Born in England during the reign of King George III, this exquisite credenza features a rectangular top sitting above a breakfront facade made of four drawers in the center, flanked with a drawer and a door on each side. The protruding central section is separated from the sides thanks to small semi-columns with Doric capitals. The drawers are each fitted with oval brass hardware while the doors are adorned with delicately carved accents. The ensemble is raised on bracket feet in the front and straight ones in the back. With its great proportions and lovely patina, this English oak George III credenza, circa 1800 will bring a touch of elegance to any home, particularly in a dining room or living room.
