A Swiss carved wood Black Forest roaring bear sculpture from the late 19th century with great facial expression. Born in Switzerland during the later years of the 19th century, this bear wooden sculpture features the characteristics of the Black Forest style. The bear is depicted walking on his four paws. The slight turn of his body allows us to witness the roaring that seems to be coming out of his mouth.
