An Italian Baroque style walnut bench from the early 19th century with lyre shaped legs and cross stretcher. This Italian wooden bench features a rectangular single-plank seat with rounded edges, resting above a trestle base with lyre shaped legs, connected to one another through a cross stretcher. The apron is discreetly carved in the front with a thin molding. Its great proportions make this Baroque style 1810s walnut piece quite versatile, suitable to be used either as a bench or a coffee table placed in a living room or patio.
