An Austrian Biedermeier bleached burled walnut swivel chair from the mid-19th century, with new upholstery. Born in Austria during the first half of the 19th century, this bleached swivel chair features an exquisite burled walnut pierced back, adorned with carved foliage and scroll motifs on the splat. The circular seat has been recently reupholstered with a neutral toned double welt linen fabric. The ensemble is resting on a turned base with quadripod curving legs and bun feet. With its convenient features and bleached burled walnut finish, this Biedermeier swivel chair circa 1840 will make for an excellent piano or desk chair.
