A hand carved wooden mirror from the early 20th century, with dark patina, floral decor and scrolls. Born in the early years of the 20th century, this exquisite Black Forest mirror features a sinuous Silhouette, accented with delicate scrolls surrounding a central clear mirror plate. Our eye is immediately drawn to the upper section and its bouquet of flowers (newly carved) set inside an old wicker basket. With its large proportions, skillfully executed hand carved decor and dark patina, this Black Forest mirror, circa 1900 will bring an elegant touch to any home, perhaps placed above an enfilade, console table or dresser.
