A French vintage stone dog sculpture with weathered appearance from the first half of the 20th century. This French statue depicts a dog, obediently sitting in a pose that will be not be unfamiliar to dog owners. With its weight shifted to the left, the dog turns its head, focused on a scene invisible to us. It is alert and ready to get up. Its nice proportions and beautifully weathered patina will make this French sculpture circa 1920-1940 an excellent decorative object for any home, placed indoors or on a patio.
